Book Tour & Giveaway ~ Bound in Strength by Zola Blue

Bound in Strength: Stance Upon Heartache
The Mejuarian Book 2
by Zola Blue
Genre: Fantasy

For god-like creatures named Mejuarian living on planet Ercutis, their world was near perfect.
Mejuarian, a cross between an animal and godly beings, have a splendorous village where everyone gets along. They live in a hierarchical society, and everyone loves their king and queen. A near utopian life that allows all Mejuarian to rise to their most extraordinary levels of consciousness. That is until they discover using systems much like our own, an asteroid is on course to decimate their village and erase their long history. Short notice, they plan to move all inhabitants, along with those bound to them by their magical powers, to the other side of their planet and reside in the lands of their longtime ally and trade partners, the Dragonors.
Very upsetting to many Mejuarian mothers and fathers having mewlings is that their ancient tradition of birthing nests on an ancestral altar would be away from their homes.
However, all seems to go as planned, and they depart with all twelve ships successfully. One ship dedicated to moving the birth alter intact with nests placed on it trails the fleet. Unfortunately, the Mejuar scientist's slight miscalculation allowed for the meteor's early arrival. A shockwave forces the underpowered, overloaded ship carrying the nests to crash land. Before its descent, a piece of the broken altar is dragged into space, and two of its occupants
On earth, a family torn with grief after the loss or their mother tries to enjoy a day of convalescing by a local lake. Hubert, the local veterinarian with his two children Ren a teen, and Brooklyn, his baby sister, are exploring after a picnic lunch. Ren discovers the charred nests and is curious as to what they are. Hubert also becomes interested in the unusual possible chrysalids. The inquisitive vet takes the nests back to his facility and uses the extent of written and photo journals available to him in 1960. He is unable to identify them and ponders, what are they?

Happy tunes from the village delighted Syberias that morning as she sat in the kitchen, preparing to have her morning tea. Tyrion was away in the fields, so using this time, she replenished yesterday’s worn energies. Like many other Mejuarian females, the elation of the eagerness of a new mother embraced her heart.
She contemplated the birth of their mewling. So, Syberias decided to read the ambrosia leaves in her morning tea as she sat quietly, meditating on her mewling nest. Syberias’ mother taught her the enchantment, telling her that Thire-los taught the blessing to the Mejuarians many long cycles ago. Few Mejuarian still practiced this mystical art or any enchantments these days. Yet, adept in her skills, secretly reading the leaves for others helped her purchase silken fabrics and pretty jewels. She sewed her own clothing and crafted precious ornaments to embellish herself in dress and body like the other Mejuarian socialites.
Vivid images stirred around, disturbing her. Images of her nest, the Mejuarian Fleet, and fiery red balls dropping from the sky, all these frightened her. She decided to reread the leaves. Pouring out her cup of tea, making another, she prayed that what she saw early was a misreading on her part. Her hands quivered fretfully when she placed the container on the table; she once again began to enchant her tea.
“Ajao ex qd d’aoiipw
kiiwvj ex gvuj giirr zeqo
Lohour qd xujo je qo
Ke II speg qakj d’ao yepo
Future of my being,
Sight of what will come
Reveal my fate
So, I know what must be done.”

Golden honey-orange leaves stirred slowly within the cup; anxiety grew within her. Syberias held her breath, watching the darkened images start appearing. At first, only dark shadows and now, colorful pictures arose from the cup, spinning before her face. Her nest, Nymeria’s nest, Captain Jonas, floated around her until a mass of fire enveloping them all dragged them back into the cup. She cried out when the explosion consumed the images of the Mejuarian, and objects close to her. She picked up the teacup and shook fretfully, causing the hot liquid to spill, burning her hand slightly. The cup fell to the floor, and the frail porcelain broke into shards, spilling tea over her newly cleaned floor.

The Four: Destruction of Honor
The Mejuarian Book 1

A masterful race of magic users called Ecrutians once lived on earth. They held a divine eminence over humans, using them as pawns in a game of chess.
As the old ways were no longer accepted by most, Ecrutians grew soft and lackadaisical and allowed attitudes of pride and self-importance to consume them. A lust for power overtook many with aggressive natures for destruction and harm to others.
Rebellious Ecrutians created long-distance teleportation enchantments, and this once peaceful race of spellcasters began to explore other planets in search of others to dominate with their magic.
Thie, one of the most powerful Ecrutians, had natural abilities that gave the creation of life. His staff of gnarled, twisted wood infused with magical enchantments, too, held terrible spells.
To maintain order and preserve Ecrutian life, Thie decides to join with three other powerful magic users to form one fearsome magical force so their lands might be saved. He chose Lotus, Os, and Irenia, three supernatural beings that couldn't have been any more different from himself.
Lotus, an Ecrutian sorceress, had a pleasant countenance, flirtatious manner, fanciful demeanor, and a festive quality. One of the most adored sorceresses in the village, she worried over the deterioration of their kingdom.
Os, burly and over eight feet tall, was a formidable force. Dark eyes with no pupils, he never smiled, and a scowl on his face always intimidated. A warrior in his soul, he fought deadly battles against other warlords.
Irenia, an ancient wizardess, clumsy, awkward, and limited social ability, always made other Ecrutians shy away from her, but she loves peace and cherishes the life of all creatures. All love in the village diminished, and she sought for the return of harmony.
The Four unite into one being named Thire-los. Joined power directed through Thie's staff is unstoppable. All Ecrutians live under their rule or suffer the consequences. Under their leadership, as Thire-los, kingdom order is soon restored. However, restlessness consumed the great entity, and the four began to fight within.
No longer can Os live under such scrutiny by Thie, and he is cast out by the sorcerer and banished to earth to live out his life as a meager human. Without the four, order quickly returns to chaos. Irenia watched nature turn to decay while Lotus suffered heartbreak at the loss of Os, her true love.
As all Ecrutis falls to ruin and despair, Irenia and Lotus hatch a plan to reunite Thie-los.

“Don’t break the circle”, Thie told them. Neither magic user was exactly sure what was about to occur. Nervously they waited in anticipation for Thie to finish his incantations.
“Roj ixeal cd’aozro epo,” he commanded loudly in the old tongue.
“Let four become one.”

Born in Florida, I am a resident of the US, but now I reside on a lovely island in British Columbia Canada with my mother and two dogs, and one cat. During the early years of my life, I worked in the business industry, thus reaching my goal of obtaining my degree in Business Management.
I love to read, and over my lifetime, I have probably read hundreds of books. Now that life has given a bit more time to concentrate on my personal life, I am following God and writing fun, fanciful fiction stories, which blend over into the fantasy realm.

I hope that each time I put words on the paper, it makes you want to read it. I always hope someone has fallen in love with my words and want to continue reading them.

Audiobook Tour & Giveaway ~ Gold Cavern by Zola Blue

Gold Cavern
The Legend of Goldum Book 1
by Zola Blue
Genre: Adventure, Mystery

The only thing that could summon Estelle from her New York apartment was a desperate call for help from the man who had saved her life as a child. Her grandfather, who had raised her from a child after her mother's tragic death, needed her to return for an urgent family matter.

Convinced of the legend of the missing village of Goldum, he gathers a group he can trust who can handle the journey into lower mountains before the snow arrives.

With Estelle to lead, she follows her grandfather's map, into foothills on ATVs. Much to her surprise, she and the others come upon another group of ATVs along their trail.

Lofton, a geologist, appears to lead a group that includes two hydro dam workers and his female assistant. With a massive gold nugget as evidence, the two groups continue together, having no real choice.

Together they discover the source of the gold is most likely coming out of an underground river, and they need scuba gear to continue. The underground journey takes several days and tortures all physically but mostly mentally. The smell of abundant amounts of gold has them all planning glorious futures.

Alliances and enemies are made in the small group. Still, all seems forgiven when they find the legendary lost village of Goldum buried almost intact. However, things go poorly when Estelle, who claims to be the rightful heir to the village and fortune, tells the disbelieving group that removing any gold will result in all of their deaths.

"Shut up, old man," replied Willie irritated. He pulled out a tiny vial with a quarter of a fingernail-sized flake of gold inside. "Yes, it's right here." Willie gazed at the thin, silvery yellow gold shaving. Last summer, he'd found the sliver sticking to his dive helmet when he was putting away his gear in the locker. Somehow the fragment of gold had attached itself to his helmet and remained there when he was diving and clearing away debris. The piece was from the Goldum gold, Raymond Barry confirmed it.
If only his fragment were as large as the nugget, he saw earlier... He seethed with envy, and his head ached with the desire to possess it.
"Is that for your retirement fund, Willie?" Simon asked, chortling.
"This is gold from the legend. This piece is worth more than you paid for your wife," sneered
Willie.
Sean's eyes grew bright. The gold was rare, and only a couple of old townies had any of it. "You're
not lying, are you?"
"Hell no. I told you!" replied Willie. With the index finger on his right hand, he made the sign of the cross against his chest.
"Oh, come on now. Not you too, Sean. You're not going to believe this foolishness, are you?" Simon said, shaking his head from side to side.
Willie pointed down at the paper placemat sitting in front of Simon. A ring from the bottom of his coffee cup had encircled the drawing of the town of Goldum.
"It's a true legend!" Sean exclaimed.
"There is no such thing as a 'true legend.' If it were true, then it would be a fact." Sean's stare moved
downward as an expression of embarrassment covered the young man's face.
"Well then, what's with this map?" Sean added. Willie had seen the diner's placemat a thousand times but never taken the time to read it. Simon told him he believed it was a cheap gimmick by old Raymond Barry to get people to buy his overpriced trinkets.
"It's foolishness. That map was drawn by a child," Simon said after studying it.
No, it's not." replied Sean. "The Leeegenndd of Goolldumm," he read slowly, pronouncing some
syllables longer to make sure he could articulate the words.
"We can read it..." said Simon, looking at Sean down the bridge of his nose. "Did you ever go to school?"
Sean felt the sting from Simon's insult and gazed quietly at the placemat. Willie saw the hurt in his buddy's eyes.
"You're a piece of shit sometimes, Simon," he said. "I'll read it:
"Situated in the icy Baldine Mountains, a band of runaway slaves from the southern territories settled the tiny town of Goldum. Striking a deal with a mystical forest creature, they were kept safe in their golden magical surroundings from those that would harm them."
Simon smirked. "What garbage."
Willie continued to read, "Embedded within the walls of their cliff dwellings was the rarest most beautiful, naturally luminescent gold. The riverbed and lake were covered in golden flakes. They created a natural attraction for fish and forest creatures, which made life easy for the small village. The people stayed within the wall of their settlement. They never traded the gold with any other residents that lived beyond the canyon wall.
One day a mysterious traveling salesman, appearing, warned them of an imminent attack upon his village. Michelo, Goldum's leader, decided to not heed the mystical forest creature's words and bartered with the man, exchanging gold for guns. However, the transaction with the gunsmith never happened, because, on the day of the sale, Goldum and its residents disappeared, never to be seen again."
"BE THE ONE TO FINE THE GOLD!
