Time is ticking down to Armageddon, and Jess must think fast if she’s to save the boy she cares about without sacrificing Earth—and everyone on it.

What are your writing goals for the next year?
Hi Kelly! Thanks so much for having me on your blog.
My writing goals for the next year were pretty much set in
stone the day I accepted Month9Book’s offer for FIRE IN THE WOODS, since the
contract included a three-book deal with an option for a fourth.
Book two in the series, ASHES IN THE SKY will be out in early
2015 and book three, tentatively titled EMBERS IN THE SEA will be out later in
2015. We’ll have to see how things go
for book four, though.
As a stretch goal for myself, I have a few more novels in
line that I would love to get out into the world. The first is a Dystopian that
is complete and just needs to be queried (I stalled sending this one out when
FIRE IN THE WOODS got contracted). I also have a middle grade story and an
adult-themed paranormal thriller. Both are complete and in first draft form
waiting to be edited.
Never at a loss for ideas, three novel concepts sit in my
“pending” folder. All are outlined and ready to be written.
I guess you could say I’m just busting with ideas! Writing is
a passion for me. Where some people watch TV to relax, I write. It is like
therapy to break up a hard day with writing a chapter of a story I love.
