She’s met the perfect man…
But he’s engaged!
Wedding planner Sophia Reed never imagined she’d meet her perfect man during a bank robbery. Evan Anderson is handsome and funny and makes Sophia believe in love at first sight. There’s only one small hitch—he’s engaged to someone else, and Sophia is planning his wedding! But Evan’s wedding is purely a business arrangement…and true love might just turn this almost-perfect wedding into a beautiful catastrophe!

Zeke was rocking back and forth on the swing. He
was dressed in khaki shorts and a blue plaid button-down with a red, white and
blue comic book hero T-shirt peeking out from underneath. She loved his style.
Zeke had a beautiful spirit. He also had a fun-loving side like his brother.
Sophia was more than happy to sit with him rather than go back up to the house with the rest of that crew. He would definitely be the best company.
“May I sit with you?” she asked.
Zeke patted the seat next to him but didn’t speak.
“You’re not not talking to me for ten minutes, are you?” she asked as she sat down.
He ducked his head, embarrassed. “No. Only Evan.”
“You know your brother loves you a lot, right?”
Zeke shrugged his shoulders.
“Just because he’s in love with Jamie doesn’t mean that he loves you any less. It doesn’t have to change anything. What they have is a different kind of love.”
Zeke’s brow furrowed. “Evan is not in love with Jamie. She is his friend. They are friends.”
Interesting. It must really be confusing for him
since they started out as friends. Surely the complexities of romantic love
were a challenge for him to understand. Heck, she didn’t understand them most of
the time.
“Friends who are also in love. That’s the best kind of person to be in love with. You want to fall in love with someone who is your friend.”
“No. They don’t even kiss!” Zeke threw his hands up.
